China and Singapore will implement a 30day visafree policy for citizens of both countries from Feb. 9, the Chinese Embassy in Singapore said on Friday.
The policy, which will apply to holders of ordinary passports, is designed to facilitate personnel exchanges and enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries, the embassy said in a statement.
The move comes after Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong visited China in November last year.
During his visit, Lee and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang agreed to facilitate personnel exchanges and cooperation in various fields, including tourism, education, culture and sports.
